As a practising reproductive therapist and a member of the National Association of Abortion and Pregnancy Options Counsellors, I have worked in pregnancy options support and abortion counselling for over 20 years. During an abortion counselling session I help you to gather unbiased information & assist you to clarify the meaning making of your decision that matches your values and circumstances. With all the responsibilities of this decision you do not have to do this alone.

I provide impartial support and advice so you can make the deeply personal decision that will serve you best. We can go through a step-by-step process of organising thought processes and defining options to help you reach a well-considered resolution. Also, feel free to reach out if you need to resolve emotions and other concerns after an abortion. Of course, it is much preferred for this to happen in the decision making phase.

Why You May Require Post-Abortion Therapy

You may have had an abortion for many valid reasons. You might have decided on this option because your financial or other circumstances made it hard or impossible to raise a child or because you were unsupported to have a child either within your relationship or on your own. You may have discovered that going through with the pregnancy could put your health at risk or that the baby had severe medical problems. Whatever the reason, it was potentially an excruciatingly difficult decision to make& you may be struggling with it now.

  • Women mostly do very well with their decision, but some may experience emotional challenges such as feelings of self-doubt or regret about their decision. For some it may clarify that you really do want to have a child no matter what.

  • It can be an extremely isolating time. I have gained the insight and qualifications to support clients who are going through feelings of regret, anger, shame, guilt, or loneliness with loving, informed post-abortion counselling.

I create a safe post-termination counselling space where you can feel held and supported in an unbiased way to discuss what you’re going through. I listen with compassion and can help you gain insight, reach a healthy perspective, process your emotions, and uncover the answers in order to reconcile with your decision
